Why Get Involved In Rural Missions?
It has been estimated that 70% of the 1 billion people in Africa live in rural areas. Most of the unreached people groups in Africa live in rural areas. Yet, over 80% of all the churches and ministry organizations are working in cities alone.
WHY GET INVOLVED IN RURAL MISSIONS?

It is disheartening but true that in spite of the fact that several millions are without effective gospel witness in the rural areas, most churches are focused on cities which are already oversaturated with churches.
Rural Areas Represent The Darkest Places In The Continent Of Africa And Third World Nations.
Another reason why we must prioritize rural areas is because they harbor the greatest levels of spiritual darkness, wickedness, backwardness, poverty, disease, high mortality, witchcraft and idolatry. We must go where the darkness is darkest!

PERSONNEL VACANCIES IN THE FIELDS
Native Rural Evangelists (NRE)
We are looking for Native Rural Evangelists (NRE) in all rural areas of West and Central Africa. Native Rural Evangelists are believers who are already living in the rural areas amongst their own people but long to do some work for the Lord. This is not a salaried position. If you live in rural areas of countries like Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Liberia, Togo, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Gabon etc and you would like to work with us please e-mail us at: Native Rural Evangelist Program, reo43331@yahoo.com.
Cross Cultural Missionaries
Cross Cultural Missionaries Are Also Needed. To become a Cross cultural missionary, you need to have a background in missions. Bible School training will be helpful. Cross cultural missionaries work in cultures other than their own. Please be advised that each missionary is expected to raise his own funds in order to qualify. Our Ministry commits however to provide the Missionary with needed fund raising training and exposure.
Country Ministry Coordinators
We are looking forward to applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Country Coordinators for our work in different countries of central and West Africa. Ability to raise personal funds is required. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled communicator, able to travel frequently, multitask and work within a wide range of ethnic environments.
Community Development Workers
Community Development Workers are needed in virtually all our fields. They are needed to initiate and develop various development projects in different rural areas and also train rural pastors in development work.
Microfinance Workers
We are looking for compassionate spirit filled individuals who can initiate, develop and run rural based microfinance operations for rural churches, ministers and communities in the regions where we operate.
Missionary Trainers
We are looking for veteran Missionaries who are willing to live and work in the rural areas of Nigeria and Cameroun. Their primary responsibilities will be in the area of training missionary recruits for intra cultural and cross cultural work in rural areas. The ideal candidates will have worked in a similar settling, be married but without small or young children and able to adapt to rural life. A long term commitment will be critical.
